Each ear is a custom order. 

Alongside eyes and fingerprints, our ears are among the very few externally visible aspects of our bodies that are entirely unique.

During the 18th century emerged a type of jewel called “the lover's eye" - painted miniatures of a loved one's eye that have been set in lieu of gems in various jewelry pieces. That is what was on my mind when I was working on carving this little ear.

Much like the eye, this miniature ear might seem like it could belong to almost anyone, and yet once you look closely, it truly signifies just one individual. & Like the lover's eye jewels, only those that have been told about the "sitter" know to whom the ear belongs.

A beautiful and delightfully whimsical way to keep a loved one close. 

The ear pendant measures approximately 1 inch (25mm).
