Processing & Shipping of Your Pieces
----------

If the piece is already in stock it will be shipped the following Wednesday (this includes all orders placed up until 12pm Eastern Time on Tuesday). If it is not in stock and unless otherwise specified, it will be made just for you – so please allow approximately 2-3 weeks for the item to be created and shipped. If you have a specific deadline in mind, email me at StudioAvdel@gmail.com and I will see if it is possible to expedite the process.

Works are fully insured and shipped using USPS for $9.99 within the Contiguous United States when the cost of the purchase is below $1,000.00. If the value of your order is above $1,000.00 you will receive an email with additional insurance charges which will need to be paid before the piece is shipped to you. Pieces shipped internationally will be shipped without insurance unless requested by the purchaser, in which case additional charges for shipping will have to be paid before the piece can be sent out.

Once the piece has been sent to you, you will receive a shipping notification together with a tracking number.

Please note that in the event of international shipping, the buyer is responsible for any customs, import taxes or any other fees associated with the shipment. As these fees vary from country to country, I am unable to provide guidance in this area. Should any questions arise, please contact your local customs office for further details.

Once a package has shipped the process is out of my hands, and I am not responsible for any packages being lost or damaged during the shipping process.

Returns and Exchanges
----------

I want you to be happy with your purchase. Please review all images and descriptions carefully prior to placing an order, as I am only able to accept returns on pieces that have a problem with their construction.

In order arrange a return, please contact me and ship the work back to me within seven days of receipt (I will provide you with further details, including the shipping address, via email once you contact me with your intentions to return the work). The refund will be the initial cost less shipping costs.

The buyer will need to pay for the return shipping and insurance. The return will be processed once I have received and inspected the piece. As with shipping to you, I am not responsible for any packages being lost or damaged during the shipping process. Please obtain a tracking number to ensure that the item arrives at its destination.

Please note that there are no returns or exchanges on custom or customized orders.

Interest-Free Payment Plan
----------

The buyer has on option of using an interest-free payment plan and paying for the purchase in two or three installments. The payments will be equally split between months to cover the cost of the piece(s) and any applicable sales taxes. The last payment will also include the shipping charge. Piece(s) will be sent to the buyer upon the completion of the last payment.

Payments made using the Interest-free Payment Plan are non refundable and the pieces are treated as custom orders in terms of returns.

Care for Your Pieces
----------

Pieces are carefully created using quality materials, so while no extraordinary measures are needed to protect them, proper care and delicate handling can preserve their life. Here are some guidelines to help ensure that they are safe & around to be enjoyed for a long time:

  • Store your pieces separately (ideally in a soft clean cases or satchels), in a dry environment away from heat sources

  • Do not expose your pieces to lotions, chlorine, detergents, or any harsh chemicals

  • Oxidized and patinated surfaces will fade with time, so keep such pieces away from liquids, lotions and detergents which can expedite the process

  • Do not use ultrasonic cleaners on pieces that are set with stones

  • Be careful with organic, porous and sensitive stones (such as opal, jet, chalcedony, fluorite, turquoise, coral etc) as sudden changes in the environment (such as temperature) can cause damage to the stones. It is best to keep them in stable conditions and away from fragrances and smoke.

  • Enjoy!
