The heart is quite possibly the most iconic symbol associated with love and devotion and has been a jewelry mainstay since the Middle Ages. 

This hand carved, puffy, heart-shaped gold padlock is my contribution to a long tradition of heart-shaped jewelry.

One side of the heart is perfectly smooth and the other features a small keyhole design. 

This little heart is made from solid recycled 14K gold and is approximately  11mm long (7/16 inch) not including the bail.
