The necklace features a resting serpent, naturalistically hand-carved from recycled 14K gold and suspended from a strand of smooth, gradated hessonite garnet beads hand-knotted on silk. 

The serpent portion of the necklace is detachable and can be worn on a different chain or necklace. The beaded garnet necklace can be worn separately, as well. 

The snake’s mouth features an opening from which another gem or pendant could be suspended, should that be desired.
