Acorns, a longstanding symbol of good luck and abundance, have been a feature of jewelry since at least the times of Ancient Greece. 

These handcrafted earrings feature carved blue chalcedony gems topped by caps made of twisted gold, gently swaying from richly textured chains suspended from French hooks.  From a certain angle, the blue gemstones appear to glow in the light.

The 14K gold and chalcedony earrings measure just over 1 3/4 in. (approximately 33mm) long.
